The interaction of the Centre with the International Organization for Migration was realized 2007-2009 through participation in the joint project (program) of international technical assistance ”Increase of potential of the Republic of Belarus in the field of management of migration processes (MIGRABEL)“ (hereinafter also referred as – project).

The project aimed at modernization of the Belarusian system of delivery of machine-readable travel papers with the purpose to bring the procedure as regards documents (passport, visa and identity papers) to conformity with European and international standards.
